Pastor Molly Lorden

Molly Lorden is the Associate Pastor and Community Hub Director at Normal Heights United Methodist Church. In this role she works to break down the “us” and “them” barriers that often exist between churches and the communities they are in, through relationship building, community partnerships, programming, preaching, and teaching. Under her leadership, NHUnited houses refugees and asylum seekers, hosts a community fridge, engages regularly in learning through book studies and guided conversations, and participates in neighborhood events. Molly received her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Certificate in Women, Gender, and Theology. Previously, she earned a BA in Educational Ministry from Seattle Pacific University. In her free time Molly loves spending quality time with friends and family, paddleboarding, taking her adorable goldendoodle, Oliver, on long walks at Sunset Cliffs, listening to true crime podcasts, and reading.
