Rev. Won-Seok Yuh

A transplant from the greater Los Angeles area, Won-Seok Yuh serves as an Elder in Full Connection and lead pastor at Harris United Methodist Church located in Honolulu, Hawai`i. He serves the Cal-Pac Annual Conference through the Justice and Compassion Essential Ministries Team and the Orders Executive Committee. In the Hawai’i District of the UMC, he serves as the District Co Chair of Communications and takes part in the Acts of Repentance Task Force (addressing the historical injustices towards Native peoples). He serves as the Vice-President for Clergy in Faith Action for Community Equity, an interfaith organization based in O`ahu currently addressing issues on affordable housing, long term care, economics, and the environment. He seeks the harmonious intersection of deep spiritual disciplines, communal empowerment, and sustainable and adaptable social infrastructure. He dives in with lots of excitement when it comes to conversations on the Creator/Christ/Comforter, calling, cooking, coffee, and music.
