Thomas Rice

Tom Rice was born in a small town in Michigan, into a family of 10 children. His father died young and his mother raised the 8 remaining siblings who were still living at home. Tom moved to Phoenix Arizona after college graduation from Central Michigan University and worked in the insurance industry for 31 years, retiring in 2020. Tom married his wife Cathy in 1990 and they have a daughter who is a professor at UNLV in Nevada and a son who is a park ranger in Colorado. Tom was raised Catholic, and joined the Methodist church in 1989 after attending with his soon to be wife. Tom has been active in his church in a number of leadership roles and has had the opportunity to preside and preach at Sunday service 2-3 times a year.
