Josh Dickson

Josh Dickson serves as White House Senior Advisor for Public Engagement and Deputy Director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Prior to joining the administration, he was the National Faith Engagement Director for Biden for President. Before the campaign, Josh worked in nonprofit leadership roles with Teach For America and Points of Light and served as the Director of the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the US Department of Commerce in the Obama-Biden Administration. He previously led the Young Democrats of America’s Faith and Values Program, worked as Deputy Director of Faith Outreach at the DNC, and co-founded Evangelicals for Marriage Equality and the Colorado Faithful Democrats. He began his career as a teacher on Chicago’s South Side, where he got his introduction to community organizing as a volunteer with the Industrial Areas Foundation.
